I also have this issue and errors related to logging upon opening the program and selecting such choices as test and options. The worst is with high/low, as this creates an infinite number of error boxes that crash the program. I sent my error log a few days ago. I really love pgen2! Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for posting, I've got your error log. Could you tell me what you are doing that generates the error messages and which form they appear in?

Thanks

Rick

Rick,

Thanks! I'm getting these four boxes popping up when I load, one after the other (they should be in the order in which they appear):
https://ibb.co/dqaACx
https://ibb.co/cWzRkH
https://ibb.co/bJmvec
https://ibb.co/hF16kH

Then, when I click on "Higher or Lower," there are large error boxes that pop up very quickly, simultaneously, until the program crashes.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm a bit concerned about those four files that pop up as they look like web addresses and they are not part of the program.

Would you please try the following:

1. Run a Virus checker and Malware checker (MalwareBytes have a free scanner if you don't have one).

2. Rename the PGen2 folder. It should be in the C:\programdata directory and run PGen2. It should recreate all the files and folders.

3. Let me know how you get on.

I'll got through the code and see why those files may be popping up.
